Kids & Pediatric Care

Chiropractic care is safe and effective for the entire human life cycle, so we see everyone from newborns to the elderly at TUNE. The optimal time for a child’s first chiropractic check up is right after birth. One of the most physically stressful experiences a child has in his or her lifetime is the birthing process. Twisting, torquing, compression, and traction of a child’s fragile spine occurs from the use of forceps, vacuums, doctor’s hands, and even during a Cesarean delivery. It is a good idea to have your child checked after being welcomed into the world just to make sure their spine and nervous systems are healthy and functioning properly. It is very safe and the techniques we use are extremely gentle and non-invasive. Each adjustment is tailored to each child’s delicate spine.

The goal in our office with children is to balance out and restore proper communication in the body so it can do what it does best – heal, adapt, and express life. We work with what is working properly in the body, rather than focusing on what is wrong. Today we find more parents bringing their children to chiropractors for common health concerns including falls, difficulty sleeping, colic, ear infections, runny noses, common colds, trouble breastfeeding, torticollis, behavioral issues, trouble focusing, fussiness, headaches, dizziness, and athletic injuries due to the holistic, natural and safe approach to care.

Many of our clients are parents who feel so confident in the care they received for themselves that we now have the honor of working with the whole family. We would love to meet you and your family! We offer complimentary initial consults and evaluations for pediatric patients.
